About Our Shop

We are a full-service fabrication shop specializing in the lifting and lowering of vehicles ranging from trucks to hot rods. We even build one off projects for companies and individuals. If we can't build it we have ways of getting it built. Time and Money are the only limitations.

Why the name Franken Fab? : I had a buddy (Chris Morris) ask me one day “What are you Frankenstien-ing now?” At the time I just laughed but then the more I looked at what I have done in past I realized that I have been Frankenstien-ing all my life. Now I find it fun to take one thing and use it for something it was not originally intended for.

To give you an idea how we help our customers build their ultimate Ride or Project. All the projects that come through the door are evaluated in three main ways.        1. What is the ultimate goal out of the project (Short or Long Term)?       2. How much is in the budget?        3. What is the time frame to have project finished by?

These few questions always opens the door to more questions but will allow us to help our customer achieve the best bang for their buck. We understand that not all customers have unlimited money but Franken Fab can help everyone achieve their goal! We can build the projects in stages or all at once. By knowing what one wants out of their project, how much money they have to spend at the time, and when a customer wants the project done by helps us manage each project to the ultimate Creation. These three main questions also tell us whether we can build the project all at once or that the it will need to be built in stages. If a project does need to be built in stages we will choose a way that will allow our customers to always move to the ultimate goal with out going backwards. We don't like spending money twice if we don't have too and nor do we want our customers too. This goes back to our motto " Build it Once! Build it Right"

About the Owner

Name: Heinz “Roland” Ketchum Jr.

Age: 45

Have been working on, building and modifying since I was 10. First car I remember working on was a 1977 Ford Pinto. I remember helping my dad assemble the 2300cc motor and installing it back in the Pinto Station wagon. The motor runs to this day. I have or have owned a wide spectrum of vehicles. Everything from lifted to lowered trucks, muscle cars, and even imports.

I have wired Japanese motors in American cars and American motors in Japanese cars. I have done everything from simple stereo work to full office computers in vehicles. Telling me it cant be done is not in my vocabulary. I have been asked what do I not work on and I tell people the only thing I don't work on is Helicopters and air planes and that is cause I have no place to land them at my shop. Every shop has its specialties. Mine is I do it right the first time.
